The National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) analysed 2,983 chemicals used in everyday personal care products.
The results were as follows:-
Over 884 of the chemicals in these products were toxic;More than 313 actually caused biological mutation;Exactly 218 caused reproductive complications in humans;Almost 800 (778 to be exact) caused acute toxicity;Alarmingly, 148 of these chemicals caused tumors; andAnother 376 of them were responsible for skin and eye irritation!
